It’s only the actors and the music of Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 that would make it worth the watch. Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 Review: The Last Word Shyam Kaushal’s action scenes are very good. Editing by Shweta Venkat Matthew could have been better. Sneha Khanwalkar’s music is extremely well done. But GOW2 just doesn’t live up to expectations.
No doubt that it must have been a very difficult decision for director Anurag Kashyap to decide which characters to retain for the sequel. It’s a pleasure to watch the shifting moods of Perpendicular and Zeishan Quadri as Definite. To paraphrase his character, “Sab ka badla liya Faizal!” Huma is lovely as Mohsina. Nothing really excites you from the point that the movie looks like a plain old revenge story.
